Hey everyone! I would like to hear everyones thoughts about the types of activities offered here at SUNY Plattsburgh. We try our hardest to provide a wide variety of events that cater to the wants of the student population. To date, ACB has held game shows, concerts, and novelty programs.

I hope you all had a good winter break and are ready to have an amazing and productive semester. I am the President of the Student Association and am looking forward to representing the student body and leading the Student Association with much dedication. Honestly, SUNY Plattsburgh is a great community to be part of. From the lovely Penny, who enthusiastically swipes our cards at Clinton Dinning Hall to our school mascot, Burghy, prancing around the gym on game days, this is the place to be.

Essentially, these next two semesters will be full of activities, services and dynamic energy. Our Senators and Vice Presidents will be working hard to address and satisfy the needs of our students. Our main goal for this year is simple, and that is building strong relationships. Building strong relationships with students, faculty, staff and community members will help build school spirit, improve communication, and foster an overarching sense of family in our campus and in the surrounding neighborhoods. Our site will have a Blog for you to address any issue and I will be communicating some of the things that are going on in my mind and in the Student Association in the SA Soundoff section of Cardinal Points. Please do not hesitate to stop by the SA office for we have an amazing secretary, Melanie Wyand, to welcome and help you with anything you may need. All in all, I wish you all a great semester and feel free to stop me to say hello on or off campus. Take care.
